Policy

When you submit the inquiry form, we receive what you enter: your name, business, email address, the service you are interested in, your budget range, and your message. By sending the form you agree to this policy. When you email us, we receive your message and whatever it contains.

Our host processes basic technical data needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not use it to identify you. We do not use advertising tools. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate, as described under Services.

To reply to your inquiry and prepare a quote, to plan and deliver work you hire us for, to keep records of that engagement, and to keep the site secure. We only contact you about your inquiry or project unless you ask otherwise.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists. We share it only with the services below, and only as needed to run the site, or where required by law.

Web3Forms receives the inquiry form and forwards it to our email. Cloudflare hosts the site, protects it from abuse, and may provide Cloudflare Web Analytics. Messages are stored in our business email account. Each provider’s own privacy policy governs its handling of data.

Our fonts are served from this site rather than a third party. Links to the App Store take you to Apple, where Apple’s privacy policy applies.

Cloudflare Web Analytics. When turned on, a small Cloudflare script runs as each page loads and sends Cloudflare the page you viewed, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, your screen size, how long the page took to load, and your approximate country, which Cloudflare works out from your IP address.

It does not set cookies, use your browser’s local storage, or fingerprint your device. Cloudflare receives your IP address to deliver the request, as it does for every page, but states it does not use it to identify or track individual visitors. We see only totals, such as visit counts, popular pages, referrers, countries, device types and load speed. We do not use this data for advertising, combine it with other information about you, or sell it. Cloudflare may process it in the United States and other countries under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. You can block the script with a content blocker or by turning off JavaScript, and the site works the same.

We do not set cookies of our own, and Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set any. Cloudflare’s security features may occasionally set a short-lived, strictly necessary cookie used only to tell people apart from automated traffic. The site stores a single flag in your browser’s session storage so the opening animation plays only on your first page of a visit. It contains no personal information and clears when you close the tab.

Client work sometimes needs access to accounts such as hosting, domains, Google Business Profile or social media. We use that access only for the work you asked for, keep it confidential, and recommend you change shared passwords when an engagement ends.

We keep inquiry and project correspondence as long as it is useful to serve you and to maintain business and tax records.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing clients@digitaldolcestudio.com. We will do so unless the law requires us to keep it. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act may give you additional rights; we honor these requests for everyone.

The site is served over HTTPS and we limit who can access what you send. No method is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care. This site is intended for businesses and adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If our practices change we will update this page and the date above. The Cadence app has its own policy at cadence-privacy-policy.
